Who are we

Thrower is a dynamic and energetic band originating from Houston, TX, and Baton Rouge, LA, blending Hard Rock, Grunge, Metal, and other genres to create a gritty and thrilling sound. Their music channels the bold energy of the '90s and the classic vibes of the '70s while infusing it with a contemporary soul and is part of a new generation of rock bands reshaping the scene. Thrower’s studio debut album, "Blink," produced by the talented Bobby Amaru of Saliva, combines influences to create a brand new fusion of grunge, rock, and metal. The album lyrics delve into the raw realities of the human condition illuminated by catchy dark riffs. Every track goes beyond the booming music and hints at deeper poetic meanings within. 

After just getting done with SNAFU tour opening for Saliva, Drowning Pool, and Above Snakes, Thrower has some shows around Texas and plans on going out on tour again later this year or Spring of 2025 to continue to support their Debut album.
