About
Who are we
Thrower is a loud/heavy band formed in late 2023 in Houston, TX. Thrower rotates hard rock, grunge, and metal, to create a progressive and powerhouse sound. Members consist of Isaac Thrower (Vocals) ,Cole Stratulate (Guitar), August Galliano (Guitar), Paul Duty (Bass) and Rocky Conant (Drums).
Thrower's roots trace back to 2020, when Cole Stratulate and Isaac Thrower met in high school. Influenced by the ’90s grunge movement, along with the classic rock era of the ’70s, the two began writing and demoing songs to create a band. The project stalled early on, and they eventually went their separate ways to different states.
Three years later, after time spent in other bands, Isaac revisited his earlier demos (including material from Cole) and reconnected with him. Determined to build a full lineup, Cole brought in longtime friend and guitarist August Galliano. After additional lineup changes, Rocky Conant and Paul Duty joined on drums and bass, solidifying Thrower’s current roster.
Those early demos eventually reached producer Mark Gray, who shared them with Bobby Amaru of Saliva sparking the creation of Thrower’s debut album, Blink. Following the release, Thrower hit the road with Saliva, Drowning Pool, and Above Snakes on the Snafu Tour, and later toured with Cold, University Drive, and September Mourning.
In collaboration with Escape the Fate and Judge & Jury Records, Thrower released their latest single, Happy When We're Bleeding, on December 12, 2025.
